YBS_Marshall
Don McNeill Visits Thurgood Marshall Elementary School in Bear, Delaware. He talks about the game he invented, "You've been Sentenced" and its new tie to NASA. You see the 5th graders play the game and some of the good- and not-so-good sentences they created. He is introduced by Nancy Vantresca, the Excel enrichment instructor. The event was sponsored by the Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation (DASEF). Sorry for the abrupt end, the original is 15 minutes long and there was no good and clear conclusion. DASEF making slow but steady progress on big plans
The Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation (DASEF) has been taking kids "from earth to space" for 22 years. DASEF's latest addition to their 90 acre site in Smyrna is the new Innovation Technology Exploration Center (ITEC), a three-story learning center for both the public and DASEF classes. Although the ITEC looks completed on the outside, it is nearly bare on the inside. DASEF is hoping its exciting classes will attract donors, as well as its award-winning "green" energy solutions. DFM News went to DASEF to tour the ITEC and joined one of the many classes there.
