Central Texas Wildfire Relief - "Hope" (Austin Community Foundation)
"The Austin Community Foundation promotes philanthropy in Central Texas to improve the quality of life now and in the future." - ACF Mission Statement We were honored when ACF asked us to help them make a few videos to be played at Fire Relief: The Concert for Central Texas. When we drove out to Bastrop with no particular plan in mind, we had no trouble finding people gathering to lend support to their neighbors in need. Cleanup is going to take a long time - perhaps many years - but Texans have shown that their hearts and spirit are as big as the State itself. Big thanks to Monica Maldonado Williams at ACF, whose support and vision for these videos made them possible. Also to the families, officials, and volunteers who took time out of their day to lend their voices to this project. To donate to the Central Texas Wildfire Relief Fund, visit austincommunityfoundation.org, or text-to-give to the number featured at the end of this video.
