Living Hope Haiti Partners with Feed My Starving Children
Living Hope Haiti Christian Mission has been using the meals from Feed My Starving Children for two years. They feed approximately 1200 kids per school day at their five schools in the St Michele area of Northern Haiti. The children shown eating here are from Mary Babcock Elementary School. As you can see, the portions are large, as the children have excellent appetites, and this meal represents the only solid and nutritious food that they will have each day. The older students in these pictures are from Living Hopes Trinity High School. Prior to receiving the food from Feed My Starving Children, Living Hope struggled to afford being able to feed the kids rice and beans three times a week. Additionally, the rice and beans offered the children very little protein, and almost none of the vitamins that are necessary to sustain proper physical development. Now, as a partner with Feed My Starving Children, Living Hope not only feeds the students every school day, they also make the food available to several local schools. And all of the kids benefit from a delicious meal that is fortified with protein, and the vitamins that they need to grow strong. Living Hope is delighted to partner with Feed My Starving Children to show the love of Jesus to the people of Northern Haiti.
