The existing schools are barely capable of accepting about 1 million children that are beginning their education and are in extremely poor condition. In cooperation with the project partner „Kinder Hilfe Philippinen eV", which has been socially engaged in the Philippines for the last 25 years, the Lyoness Child & Family Foundation has selected the San Roque Elementary School located in a very impoverished area. This school is located in the southern part of the Philippine island Leyte and has about 400 students. The mission of the Lyoness Foundation is to improve the education and the quality of life in the Lyoness Foundation San Roque Elementary School. Additionally, the parent's acceptance is being addressed so that, through education, a better future can be achieved for their children. In principle, sustainable attitude changes, community building and the strengthening of the social cohesion should be achieved in the school.
