The World Food Program (WFP) is the largest international food aid organization in the world and the United Nations’ frontline agency in the fight against hunger. Every year, WFP feeds an average of 90 million people, more than half of them children, in over 80 countries. WFP’s ultimate goal is to eliminate hunger. In partnership with other organizations, WFP provides life-saving food in emergency situations, such as conflict and natural disasters. It also provides food for development programs like school feeding and food for work projects that help promote basic education, social stability, and self-reliance. Over 850 million people go hungry every day. You can make a difference! Help raise awareness of global hunger!
