The Jeffrey Modell Foundation was established by Vicki and Fred Modell in memory of their son Jeffrey, who died at the age of 15 of pneumonia due to an underlying a Primary Immunodeficiency disease. The Foundation is dedicated to early and precise diagnosis, meaningful treatments, and ultimately cures of the ever increasing known Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases.

CSL Behring Receives FDA Approval to Extend Shelf Life of Hizentra® from 18 Months to 24 Months

CSL Behring announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a supplemental Biologics License Application (sBLA) to extend the shelf life of Hizentra®, Immune Globulin Subcutaneous (Human), 20% Liquid, from 18 months to 24 months.
