While colleges warn students about the dangers of drinking and drugs and may intervene and send them away for treatment, few provide supportive environments for students who have straightened themselves out. CWRU, which opened Recovery House in 2004, is one of only a handful of colleges nationwide that provide a place where students in recovery can live.
