New Orleans Schools Four Years after Katrina
Steve Suitts is Vice President of the Southern Education Foundation, the nations oldest education foundation which today advances creative solutions to assure fairness and excellence in education. Mr. Suitts past posts include executive director of the Atlanta-based Southern Regional Council and executive producer of Will the Circle Be Broken, a 13-hour radio series, which won a Peabody Award in 1998. He is the author of over 100 books, articles, and monograph, including Hugo Black of Alabama, for which he was named Georgia Author of the Year in biography in 2006, and several recent Southern Education Foundation publications.
